Birdee

Hi, I'm Birdee. 🤍 I'm a fine art immersive photographer based in the mountains of Topanga, just outside Los Angeles. I spend my days photographing women through all kinds of beautiful, messy, transformative seasons, pregnancy and motherhood, love, grief, healing, new beginnings, or simply the moments where you feel the pull to reconnect with yourself. Most of my work takes place immersed in nature or beneath the water, where everything seems to slow down. My sessions are gentle, grounded, and playful. You don't need to know how to pose or have any experience underwater. I'll guide you every step of the way, and my hope is that by the end, it feels less like a photoshoot and more like spending an afternoon creating with a friend. More than anything, I hope the experience and photographs we create become a way of remembering this special season of your life. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me hiking, finding some water to swim in, making prints, or getting lost in mythology and Jungian psychology for inspiration. I can't wait to hear from you and create something beautiful together!
